Hi Guys

I have been using your site for several years now, but last year I bought a Tom Tom Go 50 only to find you do not support this device. I see in the list of devices that support for this range of Sat Navs will be added at some point. Late last year Tom Tom informed its users that theyy could now download and install their own POI's.

I did hop that this would filter through to you guys and that POI's and speed cam downloads would be forthcoming.

Are you able to update us on this please?

Keep up the excellent work

Glen

Hi Glen,

I don't have a TomTom 50, my latest PND is an aging TomTom 950 LIVE, so I'm not familiar with the process that you need to do.

Have you had a read of How do I transfer items from MyDrive to my navigation device?, by TomTom?

Once you know how to transfer POIs using MyDrive, you can download the appropriate files from PGPSW.

Hopefully somebody who's experienced with MyDrive compatible devices will be along to give you better instructions.

Kind Regards,

Correction. Pgpsw are not failing to support this device. Simply, TomTom no longer support POI warnings. The camera database worked fine on all TT PNDs until TT withdrew the facility to give POI warnings.

I too don't have that model, but I think you have been able to use the TomTom OV2 version of the cameras for quite some time. BUT all you can do with them is navigate to them in the same way you'd navigate to any other POI. I believe you can't get them to display sensibly and certainly can't have a warning that they are imminent.

BUT IT'S NOT PGPSW's FAULT.
