Are these new Hadecs Radar controlled, or are do they have sensors in the road, went by today nothing from my radar detector and they are set so low and to the side of the gantry, sure they cant see much from there.

I doubt they would use road sensors because that would mean closing carriageways if they needed maintenance.

One of the links on page 1 goes to the manufacturer's blurb which describes them as wonderful radar thingies.

seems its K-band: 24.150 GHz ± 100 MHz on the manufactureS HASDECS blurb and that is what the beltronics picks up k bAND but nothing yesterday, will try again.

The Department of Transport are investigating what colour the cameras should be - M60 u-turn as 'camouflaged' speed cameras may have to be painted yellow after all

(I think this is the latest active thread about these cameras so I've added this here. Mods, feel free to move it elsewhere if it's more appropriate.)
