Yep tried the settings and also picked the best of the routes. However it still sends me down some very illogical roads which living in Cornwall leaves you holding your breath driving down narrow lanes with grass growing in the middle of the road.

Got caught a few times, now just ignore the suggestions and keep to the bigger roads. The only traffic on the narrow roads seem to be either farmers or confused Garmin owners!

The TomTom very rarely did this and kept you on reasonable roads as long as you did not use the shortest route.

We've had complaints about routing in Cornwall before ... not sure therefore what the answer is Wink

I think with most SatNav's you need to ignore some of their advice. If you don't like a suggestion to a side road then keep going and it will soon reroute you.

I've found some 'shortest route' to be just that regardless of road type. My last TT used to try to take me off the M40 and onto the A40 for a few miles before rejoining the M40 because it really was 'shorter'.
