Samsung S4 and iBOLT xProDock Active Car Dock/Holder/Mount

Just an observation for others who might be considering this combination - I bought the iBOLT Active Holder because it copes with the size of my Otterbox Defender phone cover - good set up when combined with a Brodit proclip and ball fitting. However I cannot get any sound out of the CamerAlert default speaker, ie phone, when using the supplied iBOLT leads.

When I connect the S4 original charging lead to the phone and to a USB cigarette socket plugged into the car there is no problem, nor when the phone is on its own without any leads connected. I think the iBOLT setup must mute any output from the S4 speaker.

The fact that CamerAlert crashes every 7 or 8 minutes is separate and I'll add comments to the existing thread on that.....
