HD Traffic data

I have bought a iPad mini wifi/3g which I plan to use with the TomTom app. I have to get a data sim card but not sure what contract to enter into, 250mb, 500mb or 1gb per month. I would only be using it a couple of days a month and wouldn't need it for the internet or downloading videos etc. Can any one put a figure on how much data is used by HD Traffic?

I see about 10mb/month with daily commuter usage in the Boston area.

It may be more in congested cities, I've seen some say they've experienced as high as 50mb/month.

Still most SIM plans start at a much higher allocation than either amount.

ovivo gives you 500mb data for free every month with no top up ever just pay a 1 off £15 for the sim but you get that back in credit for when you go outside of your allowance
