Any one know if the new Golf 'Discover Media Navigation System' is compatible with the PGPSW database? I can't find out who makes it but believe it has a SD card slot.

I wondered that as I'm nearing car change time. I'd go for the upgraded Pro version though.

The only thing I'm a bit concerned about at the moment is the reports that the latest DSG7 is having issues. Seems to be mainly on Aussie sites they are reporting it.

From this: http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/technology/navigation-and-entertainment-systems/discover-media

It looks as though it *could* be NNG's iGO software. I know NNG have worked with/for VW before and they list VW as a partner/client on their website.

As for whether our database will work or not is a different matter. NNG customise their software on a per-client basis so it's hard to say.

If you're getting the system anyway then the best thing to do would be to fiddle with it and look for an 'about' or 'copyright' page and see what is mentioned on there.
