The Bluetooth option in the audio route settings is for Bluetooth Headset Profile (HSP) which is different to the Bluetooth Handsfree Profile (HFP)
My Nokia CK-7W car kit uses HFP and so does not (if I recall correctly) work with CamerAlert.
To use A2DP you do not need to choose the Bluetooth output button, just use the 'default' notes button.

only tried it in my audi.
my gtr has a2dp, but I run that connected by cable to the headunit.
In the Audi, there is no A2DP, only headset protocol. It interrupts the sound and tells me there's a call, but there's no volume, no matter wha the volume on the relative volume slider.
I'll try it again to see if there are any relevant conditions.
I could also plug it in via the audi music interface, but I rarely bother, hence wanting to leave it in the bluetooth setting. |

I have tried Bluetooth Connection on my iPhone 4S in my Mercedes and it does not work after I have received or made a telephone call? I presume this is another bug? |

You could call it a bug but it really is just another side effect of the BT Headset hack. Your incoming call uses the same audio route and the combination of your phone OS and your car BT implementation defines how such a conflict is handled. _________________ Lutz

Give us your car and your phone so we can test that combination... _________________ Lutz

It's iPhone 4s and Mercedes CLC. Actually even when not on Bluetooth there are no alerts after I've received a bluetooth call. Thank you |

No, I meant (as a joke) give us your physical car and phone so we can physically test it. We only have mediocre/old cars and cannot realistically test all combinations, especially all the butchered Bluetooth implementations that car manufacturers put into their vehicles. _________________ Lutz

That seems odd because in the last proper version of the app, when I received a phone call over Bluetooth, the speed camera warning also played over Bluetooth through my car stereo. The rest of the time, the warning sound came from my iPhone. So maybe it's not my system but the way the app is configured. |

There was no BT headset routing option in the "last proper" version. _________________ Lutz

And why is it that now even when not using Bluetooth for the app, I still don't get any speed camera warnings after I've received a phone call (on the same iphone) on Bluetooth? |

That is a valid concern, we are already investigating. Will let you know as soon as we found the cause. _________________ Lutz
