The mapping / routing software allows passage from Elmhurst Avenue onto Park Avenue (Northampton). Kerbstones and bollards were erected here about ten years ago...

Bollards were put in at Yates St, Hawthorne Avenue and Bright St about 6 years ago but not recognised in the planner

The map places the Rumney river about half a mile too far west on Newport Road in Cardiff. it actually flows under Rumney bridge rather than along Colchester Avenue! Odd as the street mapping is spot on.

The Ely river is slightly too far west on Cowbridge road putting a street or two on the wrong side of it.

Don't use the Medion for river rafting around here.

Noticed this evening on my way home from work....

Immediately south of the junction of the A1 & A197 is an unclassified road heading east, I was headed north, and MN4 tried to get me to turn right across the oncoming traffic there - and the gap has been closed for at least 15 years (the correct way to get there is to take the A197 exit, and loop back under the A1 and turn left)

Another driving home from work spot:

On the A192, at the junction between A192 & A1068 to the north of Hartford Bridge (the bridge), south of Hartford Bridge (the village) in Northumberland.

The map is correct, but the voice prompt tells you to turn right to join the A1068, or nothing to join the A192 - when to carry on on the A192 it's a TOTSO (Turn off to stay on).

Trying to enter an address in Coates, Glos, it only has 4 roads out of the 12 or so that are there. Naturally it hasn't got either of the two Quaker Row's that I need!

I'm amazed that Hospitals aren't there under special destinations

Sorry, I think this should have been under 'Database' errors.

Turning on to the A1(M) from the A414 at Hatfield or the A602 at Stevenage south. The voice instruction says the road is the A10

Medion Navigator 4 seems to have left out roads on the Isle of Man completely. I'm sure it was on Navigator 2, which used Navteq rather than TeleAtlas data.

Cheers

No, I was wrong Navigator 2 doesn't even have the outline of IOM or the Channels Islands. Both 2 & 4 have roads for just about every other set of islands such as the Shetlands, Orkneys, Hebridies, etc. It must be something about the political status of IOM and the CIs - probably wanted some money or something Confused

The new sliproad system from the M4 on Chievely services is a very interesting anomaly even on v4.4 of the software.

I was apparently driving across fields on Friday evening - but I can assure you I was certainly on the road, albeit a very new road thats only been there since January this year!

Ferry ports are strange places as well - lots of walking (driving) on water.

I've found Navigon Mobile Navigator 4.0.1 has the IOM and Channel Islands on its maps, although they are older not having the M6 toll.

Cheers
