Hi all!

Am new to these things so bare with me in my questions which I have tried to find answers to but haven't succeeded.

First question.
I have a Ipaq 4150 and have been told to buy the Navman 4110, but all reviews points towards that the Trine is better. I cannot however find confirmation that the Trine would work with the Ipaq 4150. Strangly Emtac list up till Ipaq 5550 as capable, but not mine. The specs tells me that it would work. Any thoughts about it?

Second question.
The Trine is basicly the old Emtac BT but with longer battery capacity and a 24K memory for waypoints? My main use would be in the car and when I'm out hiking. The Trine would be sufficient or do you recommend another one?

Best regards

Freppa

Freppa,

The EMTAC Trine Bluetooth GPS should work just fine with your PDA. What GPS software were you looking at using?

The other difference with the Trine is that it can take up to four device connections at once. The normal Emtac, and other BT units that I know of, only support one connection.

If you plan to take it into the woods, get an OtterBox or similar case to keep it safe from water and dust.
