Turning active 10 off whilst charging ?

Hi all

When plug in torecharge my power pack the unit always comes on......so I switch it off by pressing the power button and confirm yes to power off.

Question is if I press the power on button during the charging process the screen appear quickly as the unit appears to have powered up !

Any ideas what is happening as I appear to be charging a switch on unit ? ? ?

The unit is always powered up during charging, as long as the screen shuts down after a couple of minutes I tend to leave it to charge even though its powered up - Mike
