Is it possible to totally remove the standard warning bells and whistles etc?

I've taken a look around the various files on my TTXL and can't find anything obvious. Connecting it to Home and using the manage my device just shows me all my custom warnings, which of course I want to use over the standard ones.

Getting rid of the standard ones would help when browsing the warnings, has anyone seen just how many you have to scroll through when you have individual warnings for the camera database in both UK and Euro formats!

The file the built in warning sounds are in is called data.chk and resides in the root of the device.

DO NOT delete this file or the device won't boot up, sorry but you can't get rid of this one - Mike

Did you know you can put your warnings in FOLDERS in the "sounds" folder, bandk?

That way, when you go the "Select a warning sound" menu screen, they show up as tidy folders you can tap on.

For example, here's my sound effects screen with two new folders for the "Simon" voice and also for the original "Polite" sound effects (I prefer the old ones).

Much easier to sort through! (note I've also changed the default names to make it even easier to find the one you want)
Obviously you could do the same for the UK and Euro alerts etc.

i copied the windows chime wave into the sounds folder coz i got sick of the voice warning i had installed originally, like the previous posters say you can use any ogg or wav etc.

The boing sound from windows is good but it makes me jump when im driving so i changed it for the chime wave.
