1490T safety camera data base

It is all very well having "safety camera data for life" and every time I switch on I get a " Current Garmin safety camera data is available at my.garmin.com" pop-up but where the Censored

is it? I can't see it anywhere. How do I update it please?
I despair of Garmin's support, every time I try it routes me to N.America. Ugh!

Have you set up a mygarmin account and registered your unit?
http://www.garmin.com/uk/
then [MyGarmin]
then [MyDashboard]

Connect your unit to the PC and it will detect updates needed.
The poor show is it does not tell you what the updates actually are.

Garmin support is available in UK (Southampton) and is very good. Any techinal issues in UK will get answered from here I belive.
