I dont suppose you will let me have your email so I can send you a jpg picture of whatfiles I have on My Xl IQ routes. I have damaged the system files, spent much time on the phone to TomTom and achieved nothing. Its TomTom home thats got me in this mess and I forgot to make a windows copy of the files. Perhaps you may notice a file that is missing.

Have formatted my TT and copied all the files back to the unit.
It's been sitting here for 1 3/4 hour now trying to copy a new version of the map to the TT.
-edit-
It's now 5am!
Just checked the TT after leaving it STILL updating overnight - and after nearly 8 hours, it's finally finished.
Just going to run ClearFlash and see what happens!!
It's asked me to correct a disk error, which I have ignored, and is now going to look for updates via TT Home.
A Couple of MapShare updates, and it seems to be working - so far.
Will take it out on a run later and post back the results.

The easiest way is to upload your picture(s) to one of the photo-sharing sites (such as Photobucket).
Then you can just link to the picture in your post using the IMG button
Click on the button, paste the web address of your picture, then click on the IMG button again.
If you use Photobucket, they have a link under each picture (called "IMG Code") specifically for use in forums, that you can copy and paste with all the {img} bits already done for you.
But my first advice is to make a backup NOW (with Windows Explorer, not Home), then delete all the files on the TomTom that are NOT in a folder (do not delete any of the folders!) and then connect to Home and it should download a fresh version of the software for you.
