Well guys, just want to say a BIG thanks for finding that Tripmaster file for me, i reckon it has saved me £70 buying a data logger !!!!.

It seems to work flawlessly on my Go530, i'll test it out in the car later on.

I just wish i could get it to save the gpx files to the SD card rather than the itn repertory, so that i didn't have to keep taking the unit out of the car when i wanted to check the tracks !... but hey, at least it works great !!

You can, you'd need to copy everything, all the system files, maps etc to SD card. Then the device will boot and run from the SD card.

Really ??, well you learn something new every day, i'll give that a go.

Does the O/S and files need to be removed from the Go530, or can it all be left on ??

Regards,
Andy

If there is an OS on the SD card it will boot from that by default, no need to remove from internal memory.

If you remove the SD card it will default to booting from internal.
