Garmin 1490T missing Traffic icon

Just getting used to my new 1490T and have always seen a traffic icon when connected to the car charger. It has been variously grey and green or a mixture of grey and green. Today, there is no icon. Whatever the strength of the TMC signal, I thought the traffic symbol would always be there if the TMC antenna was connected and plugged in. I have plugged and unplugged the USB and the antenna connections a few times.

Can anyone advise please
