How to Disable Auto-Clearance of Completed Route

When I arrive at my destination, my Garmin 1340 announces it, and then automatically clears the route details. This means that if I overshoot and don't spot the destination I have to re-plot the route to get back to it. My previous device, a TomTom One, would keep the route until set until I manually cleared it, so if I overshot it would re-calculate and guide me back to it.

Do you know if the 1340 can be set to do this?
