Strange 1690 issue

Ok so here is my odd 1690 bug. I am wondering if this is an issue with my device or a firmware bug that maybe only affects users with european maps? My 1690 is a Uk version by the way, and I have the latest firmware.

When I navigate a route using the “where to” method, no problem, everything works fine.

When I pre-plan a route using the 1690’s “Routes” function is when the problem occurs. When I then drive the pre-planned route, there is an error with the display of the current speed on the bottom right of the map display. Instead of constantly updating the current speed, the speed only updates each time the speed limit of the road updates, and then stays stuck, frozen in time, until the next change of road speed limit, when it then updates again, etc. I know that my unit CAN display current speed correctly because, as I said above, it does so when navigating using the “where to” method.

Can any european 1690 owners see if they have the same issue?
