Welcome to the forum, have you got a computer voice selected for the navigation instructions (it will say computer voice to the top right of the page where you select the voices from on the device)

Additionally make sure when you select Navigate To/ Address that the map flag displayed top right is a Union Jack, if not change it to reflect this and try the ASR again - Mike

Try a reset on the unit, sometimes helps.

Thanks for the welcome. I have been reading the forum for ages but never had cause to post.

It is set to a computer generated voice & it is on UK map for navigation selection. A reset also made no difference.

When I get 5 mins I will try deleting the French map link that does work & see if this frees up the UK map. I will post an update.

A couple of things......

As was pointed out, make sure when Navigate To--the UK flag is shown but, further, manually select a city as well. (Are the spoken icons active?)

And then, there is this..........

[Shot in the dark],

If everything, map wise, is set properly.......

In preferences, quickmenu preference, check the option for Navigate to
Spoken address (dialog). Now, choose that option from the quick menu.

Does it by chance work??

Didn't work for me. Sad

This really is quite weird, that's 3 of us now with this problem.

I really appreciate all the suggestions made, it would be good to get to the bottom of this, keep them coming ! Very Happy
