Not sure if anyone can help a friend has a tt one v1 he has accidently reformatted his SD card . when you start up the tt all it shows is a orange screen with the picture of a satnav with usb cable attached and does not let you do anything else. I have installed the latest version of tt home but it just shows "no device detected" in the bottom right hand corner (shows up in my computer). I have read somewhere else that useing an earlier version of tt home might work.
If someone could help it would be very much appreciated. |

v1.6 is still available on the TomTom website too.
It's on the same download page as v2.7 - look for it BELOW the big box for v2.
Even if neither of those work, report back and I'm sure we can sort you out something software-wise.... |

Thanks for the quick replies, i have installed TT Home 1.5 and updated to the latest version it now detects the TT. I have installed latest updates, when i start the TT it goes to a screen that displays "Select a map" & " No maps found" and it won't let me do anything else + should their be a main menu screen, also how do i go about installing the correct version uk maps.
Sorry for all the questions but i am a complete noob at this. |

If he has formatted the SD Card Card, it means that there are no maps to find.
If he doesn't have a Backup from before he did the formatting, then the only course is to buy a new map. These can be purchased, and downloaded, through HOME. _________________ Richard
