I recently had the Southern GB 1:50000 map consolidated with a 1:25000 custom map of East Anglia so I can zoom from one to the other.
To anyone considering this I can say it is well worth it,very good indeed.
I was under the impression it was £15 plus postage but it was £15 all in.
Of course you have to post it to Special Delivery ( because of the insurance ) Satmap in the first place.

Gibbo,
Well the first one didn't work properly so I had to return it but in each case I got it back in about three days.
That was using Special Delivery, next day by 1pm.

Im interested to know what scale the map transitions from
a) the base world map to the 1:50000 map
and
b) the 1:50000 map to the 1:25000 map
I would be very grateful if you check this and let me know.
I currently have just a 1:25000 county map and it transitions from the base world map to the 1:25000 map at a scale of about 1:33000. It's of course a big jump between these 2 maps and I was hoping adding the 1:50000 county map may give a higher transition point
Hope you can help |

Sorry Guestlinger I meant to answer this before and forgot.
I do not have the World Base Map but the UK road map changes to 1:50000 at about 1:135000.
The 1:50000 map changes to 1:25000 at about 1:32000.
