Replacement mount for 510 go required

Hi.

I am trying to locate a mount for a 510 go. TOMTOM no longer sell them
Is there another outlet that sells them. Its a great sat nav, but seems a shame to throw it away because of a mount.

Tom Tom is not the only game in town when it comes to mounts. Arkon is a leading mount manufacturer for all gps. Look at ebay for all types of mounts (powered and unpowered) for the 510.

I think I've still got the replacement mount supplied by TomTom as a result of the problems with the original X10 mount.
I'll have a look in the loft tomorrow and let you know.

Only TomTom made the x10 mounts nobody else ever released one to the market so you will need the OEM solution - Mike

It needs the original mount to charge in the car, but because the battery on a 510 last's for a few hours (mine does anyway) it maybe the bean bag mentioned elswhere will do the job.

I seldom if ever need to charge my 510 in the car always do it at home with the desk mount.

Sorry just had a look around it seems the bean bag only acts as means of providing another surface for the sucker so you still need the original mount.

I did find one an original one or perhaps a copy who knows on ebay priced in dollars have a look at 360185758716 see what you think. Also a replacement variable at 380162658983 but only £18.79 as a buy it now item.

Arkon never made an x10 mount, these were only ever made by TomTom - Mike
