Navigon Fresh Map update

I went to update my 4350 with qtr 3 maps and decided to just install uk.
I then decided to install france at a later date. The map installer removed uk and just put France instead of adding to the Uk.
Surely Navigon software developers could allow you to install any country without removing the installed map.
If you decide to install any other map you have to download all the previously installed maps again.
I think this is a poor method of installing maps.

Or Did I do it wrong. How do you just add other country's singularly without having to re-download?

Ensure that both the UK and French maps are ticketed when you do the update. Unticking the UK will cause the software to think that you don't want the UK map on the device and will remove it.
As far as I know it shouldn't re-download it from the net as the map should be stored on your PC (asuming that you have already downloaded it)
