Was using navigator 6 on my htc touch about 18 months ago but then got a car with built in navigation, that car has now gone and I'm back with using the touch for navigation again. Looking on tomtoms site I see that there is now navigator 7.
Does anyone know what the differences between the two are and is it really worth the money upgrading, credit crunch and all that !.
Also read somewhere that navigator 7 will only work with windows 6.1 or is it that it has only been tested with 6.1 phones. The touch is windows 6.0.
Cheers
Jo

Which HTC Touch device have you got as TTN is rather selective as to which phones it will work with, even some of the newer HTC phones don't work with it yet!

Whats new:
The latest new maps which is far better than using TTN6 with its 2,5 years old mapping.
You also get "MapShare" and the "HelpMe" function (very handy for finding doctors in France or Ireland, even when you are in the UK) and you can change the icon from the blue arrow to a picture of your own car.

The only other new part is a quick menu shortcut that can be put on the main display, pressing this takes you to a menu page containing the icons you want.

With the poor customer support for users who have purchased TTN7 and tried to run it on devices not supported by TomTom I would avoid this software at all costs, there are very credible alternatives that are just as good, take a look at Sygic/ McGuider or I-Go for a couple of decent apps- Mike
