I knoe wI should not have done it but I did.. I upgraded my maps from tomtom 7.9 to 8.30... I followed the instructions to the letter. When it finidhed the business my 510 told me it still had the old maps.. I went to home to install and am now getting the archive file contains this file pna.log

I have tried deleting and all manner of things with no success.. luckily I have kept s backup.. any ideas... am so sick to death of this from tomtom

Can you explain a bit more what you actually did?
I'm not sure why you are so upset about the pna.log file (I've just looked back at my HOME downloads and several of the map cabinet archives have this file in them). Or is that the ONLY file you get?

Can you work out where the process is failing? Does the map get downloaded successfully and then not get installed, or just not downloaded?
If you go to Home's Add Maps page does it show the new map at all. If you go to the Add Traffic, voices etc. pages and look at "Items on my computer" is it there?

Did you actually manage to install the new map, but just forget to switch to it in Manage maps / switch map?

sorry for all the questions, but it makes it easier to try to work out what's going on, if you can give as much info as possible.
