Hi
does anyone know if you can change the pre-set road speeds on the above? Mine is forever taking me along minor B roads when there's a dual carriage A road next to it - but 100 yards longer (over 5 miles or so!)

thanks

This isn't possible to do, but if you know better than the device due to local knowledge simply ignore the device, it will soon work out where you are going - Mike

As you have a 530 which should be running the v825 maps (the current latest released) the device should use the IQ-II Routes data from the map to work out the best route dependent upon actual known road speeds that people have driven.
Assuming you don't have IQ Routes turned off the device should use the IQ data - Mike

Thanks again Mike, I'll check the settings as amazed if the B roads it kept suggesting were as fast/faster.

I presume you are using fastest route not shortest route when you are planning.
