Hi, Linknet,

During navigation the transparency of POIs changed when they are closer (from transparency to opaque). How can I have the POIs opaque at a bigger distance?
I hope you understand my question Confused

I understand the question but I don't have the answer. Sad

I remember you saying ages ago linknet when discussing POIs that you could make the icon appear at a distance rather than the naff default icon (at least that's what I think you said!)

If you remember/ know how could you say again, I'd love to try to implement that.

Thanks

Although I know what the alpha channel does, what picture editor do you use to 'retain the alpha data channel'?

I think that most of the mainstream picture editors support the alpha channel, I only included that comment so that readers didn't use Microsoft Paint (included with windows) which doesn't support it and just removes it without notifying you.

In the about screen, the rightmost button is "§".
Clicking this causes a memory error.
What is it used for?

It's the "Legal" button which opens the "End User Licence Agreement" page.

You shouldn't be getting memory errors from this, unless of course you are running short of memory.

Another topic:
Where is the file timezones.ini being used?
The names are used when you manually select your location, but if you want the auto-detect, a different name is used (probably from tzinfo.bin)
Where is the data of start and end of the daylight saving time stored?

You might be better off creating a new topic for this since this thread is for the Ultra Skin queries.

Reading your post on another forum it would seem that you're using a "patched" version of iGO 8.3.2.83157 (ripped from a PNA) as well as some suspect Eastern Europe 2009.02 maps (not released yet) so no wonder you get crashes. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Funny answer.
Take into consideration that without your skin iGO doesn't crash. So there is definitelly a bug in your skin. What's more - crash depends on setting of lane assistant.

In which case consider it as an anti-piracy element built into the skin.

Try purchasing the software and using legal maps and you'll find that everything works perfectly with no crashes.
