Is this on purpose? Because with Ultra 5 skin this also worked in "Map" screen.

Yes, I thought that the "Map" screen was already too cluttered, so it's only available on the "Plan on Map" screen. Wink

Hi Linknet,

Could you add the Search button to "Plan on Map" screen like it was in Ultra 5.0 skin? It was very useful feature...

Thanks

That was one of the items I removed to reduce complexity, I know it sounds simple, just a button, but you have to modify all of the subsequent option screens to ensure that you return correctly to the "Plan on Map" screen.

And it wasn't really much quicker, it just seemed like it was:

Version 5: Menu Switch Button ► Find Button

Version 6: Menu Button ► Find Button

So I'm afraid it stays removed. Sad

Hi linknet,

did you have a chance to look at the colored status symbols?

Yes, just got round to it. I like the actual colours but found that they seem very bright when compared with the originals.

Regards

Hi linknet, Finding the ultra skin very good, really dislike the cluttered skins that are out there... The only thing I would change is the varying position of the current speed shown on map - maybe you have a good reason, but I find the fact that it moves around depending on whether there is a second direction instruction/speed camera warning a bit distracting. I think it would be better always displayed to the right of the speed limit sign, rather than sometimes above, sometimes to the right. What are your thoughts?

With it vertical it allows more space for the lane information arrows when they are at the bottom of the screen.

But if that's what you want then just tap the speed information panel to change it to horizontal, the setting will be remembered when you restart iGO. Wink

Added Version 6.0.10 Smile

Added an additional button to the "Plan on Map" screen to open the "Route Information" screen if there is an active route. When there is no active route the button opens the "Route Settings" menu.

Modified the "Route Method" display on the "Route Information" screen so that it's now an active button. Selecting it cycles through the various routing methods and recalculates the route accordingly (see the screenshots page general section for details).

Modified the "Pop-Up" information panel on the "Plan on Map" screen to include the actual POI icons. Also changed the background colour for daylight mode to make it more visible.

Added a number of minor fixes and cosmetic adjustments.

Included further fixes and cosmetic adjustments for version 6.0.10

When driving with no route selected I see a permanent translucent box where the 2nd turn info box usually is. Is that intentional?

320x240 unit.

No, it's certainly not intentional. Confused

What settings are you using for the 2nd turn ?

Try setting both of the 2nd turn settings to "Off" and see if it disappears.

Try disabling speed cameras completely and see if it disappears.

That should help to find the cause.
