Does the Trail Up finction still work on yours??

Yes and no. As with 1.2.

It works with Advanced power setting set to normal and does not with Advanced power settings set to advanced. If I understand your question correctly.

Thanks Mike, i'd not realised it didn't work with 1.2 either, i guess i've just always had it set to standard until today. Embarassed

Pressing the on/off button once on mine brings up a "power off" confirmation screen.

Pressing twice in quick succession locks the unit, displaying a padlock icon at the top. To unlock it, pressing any key whilst the screen is still lit up asks for confirmation. If the screen has blanked, pressing the power on/off button brings up the unlock confirmation screen.

Really worth the wait.
Quicker on start up, no need to remove and reinsert whole of GB sd card anymore, screen lock and positive confirmation of power off, just about all the wishlist complete.

I have also installed 1.3, and am very pleased withe changes. It's a bit soon yet to know if the freezing issue has been sorted.
My only gripe is -
Why did I have to hear about it on this Forum? I have registered my SatMap with the manufacturers in order to get update information, but I still haven't had a mail from them at all!

Fabulous bit of kit though - isn't it!!

Email came to me earlier this evening....about to upgrade after I've charged up some batteries.
I sure hope GPS Position: now has a new icon featuring a Direction of Travel Indicator doesn't mean it's more cluttered in that area now.

All working OK here Smile

The Postcode option is in planning by pressing the joystick.
It is greyed-out currently - possible future development?

I don't think you will be disapointed. It is a very thin, discrete line.
A nice addition IMHO.

I was wondering if it was for use with the London A-Z mapping.

after updating I waited to get a gps signal on the device and the sunset/sunrise times have readjusted and now are almost the same as those given on my Suunto Core watch - 8:20/16:14.

Was the time always given on the gps status page - if it was I'd never noticed it before.

I shall investimigate the rest of the update when I take the Satmap out tomorrow.

When I try and view the 'Version History' link next to the download link I get a page that continues like this (it has a question mark in a diamond every other character.)

Quote:

Is it only me getting this? Ta.

It looks as if the page has not been tested adequately. It will open in I.E. but not in Mozilla based browsers like Firefox.
