planning a route in france with Tom Tom

Hello
I have tom tom navigator 3 but how o I plan a route from Calais to Toulouse without the route going on toll roads please can anyone help me we are going on the 12th june.

Avoiding toll roads only works after you planned the route, and it only works by road name, not by the property "Toll" (TomTom doesn't know Toll, except for the London congestion charge)

Once the route is planned and you are in navigator mode, you can tap on the screen, then "Alternate route" and then "Avoid E5" (for example). It will only show the major roads that are actually on your route.
