Well HOME is just as big a pile of rubbish on the Mac as it is on a PC but in answer to your question, it all works fine on a Mac.
Most of here at PGPS towers are Mac users so we're naturally keen that Mac support is provided on any device.
The 940 mounts as a drive so you can copy and paste files to it as necessary (POIs etc) and HOME is available in a OS X flavour. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I have a couple of macs and have no problem with Home, well apart from Home, but I believe it to be no better or worse than the Widows version. I do a lot of stuff through Finder and use Home for updates. _________________ in the 128 |

Same here, the internal and SD memory on my 720 show as separate drives on the desktop, easy to copy files back and forth. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

I have tried to download the new map using Home and its gone mostly pear shaped, even the backup I did before the download seems not to work, as the original map had disappeared off the device. Having a look today and found a few backup folders, so dropped the map back in all by myself via finder, so at least I am back to square one, just waiting to see what Tom Tom have to say about the new map and its whereabouts :-)
Who ever came up with Home, well is probably lost somewhere. Ohh it makes me angry _________________ in the 128 |

Thanks too all for the replies and it's sort of good to know that it dose work on my mac as I love it . but I am a bit disappointed that the home software is poor, so as I have both Windows XP and Mac what is the best and most stable and reliable OS to use
thanks
