another fustrated TT Owner....

picked up a little TTOne v4 last week good stuff for what i need it for.Noticed that a map upgrade was made avaliable on the net,hooked up my TT nothin to download.My TT was running 7.25 maps and a navcore version i think 8.012 ....i also put my promo code in activating it thinking it would then show the maps and still nothin and my code is now showing as being used Anyway i deleted everything in my TT drive apart from map/zip folder an one other file hooked up tt. Updated itself twice to navcore 8.010 and then proceeded to tell me that my maps are up to date and no show of the 8.3 navcore.How come some peeps are being able to download this an some are not?Tried phoning TT twice no luck getting through.It will however let me buy the maps....go figure is there any other way to do this and is my promo code no use?Do Garmin users have this much trouble?
