No computer voice after installing 830 and 815 on my 920

Installed the map of Western Europe and 830 without too many problems, but Kate wouldn't work. I've deleted Kate from Loquendo and Voices, and installed Simon which I can now select, but still silence. Non-computer voices work fine, everything else seems ok, any suggestions?

First port of call is to try a reset of the device using a paperclip or similar - Mike

i have the same problem on a 910 in that kate is now no longer available and in tomtom home it says that computor voices do not work with this device? they did before the update to 7.9 and 8.15 maps. help anyone?

Are you looking in the right place in Home?
In Home v2.3 and 2.4 they aren't found under "Add Maps, Voices, Traffic" -"Voices"..... that would be too easy!
They are on the next page of "Add Maps, Voices, Traffic" - "Computer voices".

This has been sorted out in Home v2.5, they are now two sub-sections under "Voices"

Had the same problem on my 930. Updated to 8.3, lost all voices, tho I got Susan to yap for a few seconds on the test voice tab, but gone after that. As I saw no benefit to updating right now, I rolled back to previous firmware. I'll just sit tight for now till this is all sorted out.
