I am aware that the S50 has a 12000 limit for PIOS. I want to use all of Pocket GPS database, which I obviously can't at the moment. There must be a way of increasing that by reprogramming it in some way. I do a bit with Cooktop 2.5 xml editor. Though I only have very basic xml/html knowledge I have mananged to add diiferent wav sounds, change notification distances, etc.
Is there a programming expert out there who can tell me why I cannot increase the 12,000 limit, or how to do it if I can. Thanks, Graham

It's not that you can't add them -- 12k limit is just a warning which you can choose to ignore and add more. Problem is that the unit becomes too sluggish and unstable if you do that.

Ah, now I see what you mean. A bit like filling your boot with bricks - it will still go but drag it's heels. Thanks for that, I will stop looking now.
