Yes, not so good, especially after refunds were promised.

I wonder if there is anything PGPSWorld can do for us???? Very Happy

After this length of time I doubt even the credit card companies would be interested in helping.

Why offer refunds in the first place, if they are not forthcoming ?

I have had nothing either. I might take it up with my credit card company now. Whats the point in asking us for our bank details and providing a gift and then holding onto our money!

Do you thing our credit card companies will help? may be put some pressure on them?

Have we all just about given up on ever getting a refund. ? I know I have

I know Stu (deepfour) still has some contacts but as he no longer works for VM it seems rude to keep asking him to chase what's happening.

Does anyone else know where else we can contact as VM Support won't be able to help as the Advantage thing was done external? Rolling Eyes

Have just received some incomprehensible letter from Via Michelin advising that my details (IBAN no.) were illegible, incomplete or invalid and hence I now need to submit another request for a refund.

Strange thing is I checked my IBAN no. with my bank before responding and I did take great care to ensure my numbers were legible.

Methinks more delaying tactics here, anyone else received the same?

Update

Yep sure enough I have a letter saying I didn't provide the correct information even though I know for a fact I did and my other half checked I'd filled it in before sending it back.
The other kick in the teeth is the fact the letter says I have 10 days in whcih to return the 'form' and yet I have looked and looked inside the envelope for this form and can't find one?
Anyone else get just the letter and no form?

Can anyone from PocketGPSWorld.com find out what the hell is going on. I honestly give up, the longer they leave it are they deducting how much of a refund we will get?

I got this incomprehensible letter (OPERATION NEW EDITION Confused ) as well... Did you send only the IBAN number before? I think they want both the IBAN and BIC number. I sent only the IBAN no before, hence the letter now I suppose.


Also, what the hell does this mean...

"Please send us the document(s) to us within 10 days following receipt of this email, accompanied by this letter, to the following address..."

- What email?
- What documents?

Doing the same, as I did so I realised that I wrote the details just as they are shown on the bank letters so how they can claim I didn't give the correct information I don't know.

Like someone else says, just seems to be a way of delaying the refund by claiming the information wasn't correct puts the error onto us not them

I havent got anything back on the test registrations I entered while working at VM.

Bertie what was the time between you sending in your letter confirming your banking codes and the return of the money?
