ive had TTN3 now for a few weeks (on a ipaq 4150 and fortuna clip-on) all working fine. I upgraded to 3.01 a week or so ago, in the last week when i have turned tomtom on (after not using it for a few days) ive had the setup menu come up twice and had to reset all my settings on mph instead of kmh and map colours etc and a few changes to hardware buttons (all seemed to be ok in 3.0)

the only other thing ive got thats tomtom related is the postcode database and checkpoint, which is assigned to button 4. Its starting to get annoying having to go throught the setup process twice a week.

Anyone else suffered this?

ive even added my favourites as a personal POI since its getting frustrating!!!

I've noticed a few times that some of the settings appear to reset themsleves. I felt this was something to do with switching maps but I haven't checked it out yet.

Razer,

I once had this problem with TTNav2.24 where several times in as many days the same thing happened. I had to go through the extra screens like you. I ended up doing a soft reset every time and then it stopped and was OK. At the time I put it down to a voltage drop from the vehicle’s cigar lighter that might have triggered it. I’ve not had it happen yet (touch wood) with TTNav3.xx.

Saving your favourites as a POI is a good idea. Thumbs Up

Regards,
