Speed Warnings in Europe

I will be leaving for a European Bike trip next week and am just about to try out the European speed camere database as well as the UK one on my Garmin 2820.
But it occurred to me that one is Kms and the other MPH - any views on how I tackle this or is the speed figure in the database just numeric therefore all I have to do is change the unit's measure in to metric?

Or can you only use 1 database at a time ie., KMH or MPH

Any help would be very much appreciated...

Hi.

There is a guide here which should help.

Send the UK (MPH) database to the unit. Find the Garmin\POI directory and then edit the filename on the unit from POI.GPI to POIUK.GPI. Then load the Europe (KPH) database (don't forget to change POILoader to KPH) to the unit.

I'm not sure but you might have to change the units settings from MPH to KPH once in mainland Europe.
