Hi
I have just returned my Navman 3450 to Expansys who have given me a FULL refund. I am very pleased with their service & really :x with Navman who had just ignored the problems that I had with trying to get the 3450 to work with the iPaq 5450.
I am now looking for a replacement GPS. Any suggestions - I have been advised by Expansys to look at Navman 4410 ( no chance) I would rather eat my own feet.
TomTom Nav 3 or CoPilot PC quickstart.
I am not sure if I need the hassle of BT or is there a bundle where it is bulletproof & it will work without affecting my GPRS connections?
I have the iPaq 5450 , a Nokia 6310i (which I use BT for emails on the move & abroad) I also have a Arkon CM55 powered mount.
My vehicle is a Mitsibushi Shogun & I would like to install software to show Speed Cameras.
All suggestions gratefully received.

Hi Guf3,

Welcome to the forum. 8-)

If you want to see speed cameras then you’re really limited to TTNav3. You can use either the free CheckPOInt 2.02, which you can download from this site, or GPSAssist together with the free PocketGPS camera POI. Alternatively you can use a commercial database from TrafCam who provide an add-on for TTNav.

As for a GPS receiver, I’m happy using Bluetooth now although I have a wired one for backup. I went for the Fortuna Clip-On, but as an alternative the Navman 4100 looks good as well. Thumbs Up

Regards,
