Given the state of Sterling against the Euro, the longer this drags on, the better. |

Got my letter in the post this morning together with a 1GB USB memory stick by way of some kind of apology.
Now I expected to be asked for sort code and account no. but they are asking for IBAN/BIC no.
What the hell is that?
Just rang the bank and answered my own question.....
this is a code which contains your country, name of bank, sort code and account number which can generally be found on your bank statements
Now we will see how long it takes for the money to appear in my account...... |

Hi All
I was going to make the same comment - I had registered 2 test accounts and they both came back yesterday with the free sticks and requests for bank details. I would expect that its the usual 28 days maximum for ny refund,
If I hear anything I will keep you posted!!
Cheers

Any news yet? I know it's normal for companies to take a while to issue refunds but this does seem to be taking rather long with no further communication from VM about the refunds.
We have no way of knowing if the information returned ever reached it's destination. It could be lost in the post for all anyone knows.
Deepfour, any chance you can ask any of your contacts (if they are still at VM) what is happening with the refunds. _________________ Navigon 8450 LIVE |

Cheers. I suspected more and more people would have left the company by now. It would just be nice to know what is happening. _________________ Navigon 8450 LIVE |

Guys
I just spoke to one of my old marketing contacts who still works on the web site stuff. He translated an email and letter the other day which is going out to people in the next week as so many people forgot to add their Iban and swift code details to the letters for payments. Apparently all other payments are being made in the next couple of weeks.
Hope this helps,
Cheers

I just put the IBAN number on the return slip. Is that good enough, or is the BIC required as well?
I thought the letter said IBAN/BIC. Meaning IBAN or BIC?
Confused now... Or did some people not bother with IBAN or BIC at all? |

I think I put down what was asked for. I just copied it off a bank statement.
Why did it have to be so complicated Refunds to Credit cards I'm sure would have been much easier. _________________ Navigon 8450 LIVE |

Nothing here and no letter, so can only assume I filled in my details correctly. _________________ Navigon 8450 LIVE |
