nuvi 360 fuse

Have a nuvi 360, however the fuse blew in my in car charger, this subsequently made the unit blow. tried different charger, usb mains charger etc. but still cant get the unit to turn on.
Garmin want £126 fixed charge to have a look at it or try and fix it. ive already bought the garmin 250 to replace ok, it doesnt have bluetooth, mp3 player picture viewer etc but i never used them anyway.
Any ideas from you chaps what i could do

tried the reset button whilst trying to turn on no joy, when connecting to the pc same problem. any ideas if theres a fuse inside the unit what may have blown and how do you get in the thing.
