Slim GPS

Does anyone have any news on the Fortuna SlimGPS?

I believe it uses XTrac v2 and unlike the Clip On does not have a switch to move between SIRF and XTRAC.

Anyone know about price and availability? I heard end of May.

I was looking to get a bluetooth receiver but may hold out for this if it is not too far off or expensive.

I sent an e-mail to Fortuna and they said it would ship within the next month. That was about 10 days ago, so I would expect to see it by the end of May.

I too emailed Fortuna but heard nothing back.

I also emailed TotalPDA to ask if they had any news or were taking advance orders. Unfortunately they replied that at the moment they have no plans to stock the product.

I also send an e-mail to FORTUNA and the reply was that the SLIMLINE will not be produced before October of this year!!
Can anyone confirm this or has anyone other information?
