Have a look at this.
I don't have a bluetooth MM but I have a wireless one from Macally which I use with my Powerbook which again plays lots of tricks when it feels like. |

Just remembered, a right click can also be achieved with the help of the CTRL key:
CTRL + click = right click
if you're in the middle of something, this might be preferable to a power cycle
edit: I remember Macs when they only had one mouse button, so the CTRL click comes with the territory _________________ Andy

ReubenZ Thanks for the link
I'm still not put off and going for it..
I am already running Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird on my old Dell laptop which seems fine for this PocketGPSWorld site and keeps spam and pop-ups away. |

That could well be why I have had issues. I've got three wireless networks, a wireless phone and wireless extenders all in close quarter. Everything else works Ok but it could explain why the mouse plays up. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I should have mentioned that my Bluetooth MM is also optical - I long ago got tired of scraping balls and roller bars. It scrolls up, down, right and left and squeezes to do I know not what! I'll swear the man also said something about rocking it from side to side to get right click. The manual is still in the shrinkwrap - are Mac Manuals worth breaking the habit of a lifetime and RTFM-ing?
As for wireless interference, I got Vera a wireless mouse for her laptop - it had a USB plugin thingy on a very short wire. It failed due to interference from the screen (the leaflet said "Don't position it close to the screen" - notta lotta use with a laptop methinks!). _________________ Dennis
