I've just brought a new Palm Treo 750 Smartphone which runs Windows Mobile 6, and can't set up a wireless data connection with my TomTom 920. Although I can pair the devices via Bluetooth, the wireless data connection won't work.

I've previously been using the TomTom with a Nokia N95 and it worked fine so I assume my mobile data contract is all OK.

Anyone else had this problem and managed to solve it. I seem to recall reading somewhere that WM 5 will work with a TomTom, but something in WM 6 (Dial Up networking ?) has been changed and is casuing the problem.

Any help would be VERY gratefully received.

I'm running a Treo 750 with WM6 and connected to a TT720. I find that the wireless connection does not work unless you kill other apps using a 3G data connection or HSPDA connection eg Goodlink email for one or IE for another.
I found stopping the data programs completely and then disconnecting the data connection so that only "3G" or "H" is showing in the icon at the top then allows the TT to then make a wireless connection. I'm assuming this is because it uses GPRS for the connection rather than a data connection but may be wrong. Anyway doing this I"m getting reliable wireless data connections where before it was very "hit and miss".
Hope this helps.
