map share and TT 910 with new maps but not getting updates

Hi

We have a TT 910 about 1 1/2 years old and we paid for new maps (V710) just before Xmas. I don't seem to be getting any mapshare updates even though it clearly says there are over 13000 to be had. I have made a couple of mapshare changes and it seems to take them - although it seems to take them every time i log on - even if i haven't made any new ones)?).

Does any one know if mapshare should work or not? only it is driving me nuts; TT said I need to reinstall TT home 2.2 which i have done (twice), but still no updates.

Any thoughts please?

Have a llok at some of the other recent topics about new maps and mapshare.
There seem to be quite a few issues where some people have no trouble at all and others just cannot get it working.

I've had no trouble at all for months, but after getting v715 maps last week I can ow get the actual map corrections, but not the POI updates.
There are a few suggestions and things to try in those other topics.

Thanks for the help, i eventually managed to download the map share updates, although why the problem happened in the first place for me and others is baffling - why cant TT help, all they said was to reinstall TT home 2.2. It still doesn't seem to want to take my map share updates though? any thoughts?

I still have a problem with the 'Help' guides as well, I don't get either the first aid guide or the other info guide.

(Ignore where it says they are only for v705 maps. Also works for later OR earlier map versions! Must be running v7 software though)
