Hi everyone! Very Happy

I guess this has been asked dozens of times & I know you'll say not possible but what is the best compromise?

I'm looking to buy a mid to upper range SatNav system to use in Europe with particular focus on the former Eastern Bloc. I've done some research and found that there are several units available that will be OK but whats best? I have a budget of about £350.00 My ideal requirements are as follows:

Car system with a possibility of mounting on a cycle or use on foot.
Coverage down to street level in Poland, Czech, Slovak, Romania & Hungary.Coverage for Western Europe, Scandinavia & the UK.
Excellent battery life.
Facility to enter GPS co-ordinates & navigate to them.

So far I have seen the New Mio C620t with Miomap 2008, Navman S90I, Myguide 4300 and several TomToms's & Garmins.

I know I'll never get exactly what I want but please could you help by offering your own experiences & tell me who has & what is the best % coverage for the nations I require & which would be the best available unit to compromise?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Look HERE where you could go for a Pocket PC or Phone, the maps come on a SD Card and should you change your phone/PC, no messing about re-activating. Until recently Mio were using iGO mapping, may still do at present, and either will do everything you want, and more.
