Submissions Not Working?

I came across a scamera van location today and it's not in the database.

I've found the location of the layby using Google maps, entered it into the "Expand for Single Camera Input" bit, followed the instructions but there is no form to fill in.

I press the Update Co-ordinates for single submission bit but nothing happens: no way to enter "the Latitiude and Longitude fileds on the form, complete the other details and send the enty", nothing!

What gives?

Have you clicked on the + at the right hand side of the expand for single camera input in the yellow banner to drop the form down. Fill this in with as much info on the can site as you can.

I'm trying it now...

First I click on the [+] in the yellow bar to expand the single camera submission. I now get the yellow page including the compass picture for headings.

Next I zoom/pan the map to get the tiny crosshairs at the centre on the exact spot.

I then click in the "Update co-ordinates for single submission" box. The Lat/Long co-ordinates now ppear in the two "greyed out" boxes at the top.

Select "add new camera" in the "action" box

Add the 'camera type', 'speed' 'direction' and 'Heading' in the relevant boxes.

Add a description.

Tick box to confirm UK

Click on "Send entry"

That's what I see. What bit isn't happening for you? Are you not clicking the "X" right at the beginning?

MaFt/Team... Assuming the problem is what we think it is, should the wording be made clearer on the form?
Something like:
"To see the form for Single Camera Entry, click the X" (or preferably can't we just click anywhere on the bar and lose the "X"?)

And similar for the blue ov2 submission section... (does anyone still use that?)

Ah right!

I thought it was already "expanded" because the map and the co-ordinates were all showing and the other options for other submission types weren't.

Maybe the page - which is, after all, a very long one, should be "expanded" by default?

That's a very busy page.

Choice of having it all there, with expands and scrolling, or having a zillion links to other pages.

Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
