Speed cameras in France?

I am gonna go on holiday in France later this year.

Do they have speed cameras?

Is this database available from this website?- I've looked, and can't seem to find anything.

Can you help?

Indeed they do. Plenty of fixed cameras on Autoroutes and Routes Nationales.

We have France cameras in our Europe database. Although not yet as concise as our UK coverage it is growing and of course should you find one that we don't have you could qualify for the lifetime subscriber offer.

I think you will have to register (free) and log in to download the camera locations.

I have used it fairly frequently in France and they seem to be accurate.

Getting to be more mobile cameras around. Quite often handheld and late at night too.

Remember, GPS based warnings OK in France. Radar detectors NOT. They will confiscate it and fine as well.

I have had my stuff gone over by the gendarmes to ensure it is not a radar one during a routine roadside check.
