I had a 720 during the summer but had to return due to the normal problems.
Short battery life, sound breaking up on blue tooth etc.
When it worked it was very good, so with the big discounts at the moment I was thinking of buying another one.
Have they sorted them yet? |

They are not really designed to be used on battery only for a long time. Whilst driving, it's expected that it will be run off the cig lighter so battery time is not expected to be long.
Recent firmware updates have been addressing bluetooth issues so updating may solve your current problems (connect to Home and choose 'Update my device' to see what's available). _________________ Gerry

I had problems with the 720 I bought last October, but the replacement I got yesterday works perfectly straight out of the box, handsfree, voice input, latest map guarantee, everything. |

Depends how hard you are prepared to fight.
Your machine is under guarantee so you can always get it fixed for free, but many retailers will not give you a replacement after 28 days, unless you are prepared to stand in the shop for hours and make a fuss. |
