I run TomTom on an HP iPaq, and used to have traffic working successfully via my old mobile phone. However, I've changed my phone and now use a bluetooth car kit for the phone. I've not managed to work out how to get traffic working now. Has anyone got this combination of PDA, phone and bluetooth car kit working?

In case it makes a difference I use a Nokia 6021 phone and a Parrot 3200 car kit.

The problem seems to be that the car kit connects to the phone over bluetooth, and then the iPaq doesn't seem to be able to. It appears that the phone can only accept one bluetooth connection at a time.

Is this a limitation of my choide of equipment? Is there a workaround?

Help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I have recently aquired a new Ford Mondeo with Bluetooth, I also have a Nokia 6021 and a Tom Tom one.

These items all worked together quite happily in an old Mondeo fitted with a Nokia cradle/Bluetooth, hands free calls and traffic information using GPRS, with phone calls taking the priority.

The new Ford only lets one thing to connect to my phone at anyone time.

i.e If I turn the Radio on first then the phone pairs with the car and locks out the Tom Tom. If I turn the Tom Tom on first then the car gets locked out.

I have spoken to Fords with no joy and I have spoken to Nokia ( who i believe supply the Bluetooth Phone adapter to Fords) also with no joy.

Any Help would be appreciated

I'm using a Parrot CK3100 in my Mondeo, and a GO710, both are connected to my Nokia 3109c at the same time, and they both work flawlessly.

I decided against the Ford Bluetooth option, as that would mean I'd be paying tax for the option over 48 months. Cheaper to fit the Parrot for £100 and claim the cost back on expenses.
