GPS software updated to v3 (nuvi 660)

Noticed my Garmin had updated with version 3 of the GPS firmware (this is for the GPS receiver I believe).

Done when I webupdated and it said GPS firmware.
Can't find any reference to it on the Garmin site.

Cant see any change in operation though.

I went for the upgrade a few days back, after seeing the thread on gpspassion.

Can't say as I've noticed any difference (C510).

Look on the bright side, at least the update didn't corrupt the unit, that is where not noticing any change in operation after updating is good!

The update said GPS chipset Type G, does that give a clue to the upgrade?

As for changes can't see any, but as captureboy says - at least it still works!
