Hallo? Wink

Yes, the voice alerts should all work fine.

The ogg files don't go in the voices folder though, they go in the map folder alongside the camera data files of the same name.

Follow the instructions on that page carefully. It's pretty simple, but TT have added a couple of traps to catch the unwary!

Instructions are HERE

I was referring to the note about replying "yes" to the question "is this the sound you want to use?"

Patience... Cool

For me it took a few hours - I guess it depends how busy they are. There wasn't any download instructions, it's just an email to say it's all set up and it's then a case of plugging into 'Home' and automatically updating.

Connect up via HOME and see if the Updating process offers it to you.

I actually purchased mine through HOME and downloaded almost immediately. Email came nearly 1 hour later.

Oh my God it gets worse!

Just tried buying via Home. Went through the payment process then it told me "The device connected is not the one on your account! !

I only have one device?????

I have now bought the map twice and still not getting anywhere.

What is the next step PLEASE? Shocked

I'd get on to them on the phone first thing tomorrow:
0845 161 0009
Monday - Friday: 08:00 to 20:00 GMT
(every first Tuesday of the month: 09:00 to 20:00 GMT)

I have been on the phone twice Andy. It seems they have got a completely different Device Code on my account and have had to put it through to "second line" to sort out. (they are all in a meeting !)

Sounds like they are as baffled as I am.

Got the version up to 7.16 now but I had to keep connecting to Home and letting it upgrade one by one from 5.42 !

I now have the latest speed cameras & warning voice downloaded on my PC waiting to go into a Map folder I can't get at!

Now I remember why I tried HOME and got rid of it a year or so ago...... Crying or Very sad

They now have my device correct on Home but...........I have TWO maps on there....V675 and V710.

I assume I want 710 but why is 675 a much bigger file?

Just want to be sure before I download.

BTW, they have now taken payment twice!

It's fine to have several maps on your TT1 at once - you just choose which one to use. The older map includes major european roads hence it's bigger.

I'd suggest you call TomTom and explain the problem re: the payment.

Already phoned them 3 times and sent messages.

Have I received the 2 different maps because I have paid twice?

Or is it normal to get them both?

I assume I only NEED to download 710 onto my ONE?
